A great fish and chips place! I ordered the kid’s fish and chips with pineapple fritter. The cod fish was fresh, pineapple fritter was juicy and the chips were crispy! The best part! It’s not oily and greasy!
As someone who grew up obsessed with Macca's fish burger, the Kraken burger from this spot is like the better, fresher adult version of my childhood favorite. The chips were pretty solid too, and the staff were nice. One thing I didn't like was the limited seating options and lack of breeze. Could feel pretty stuffy when the place is packed. However, I would definitely come here again.
bring back the chippies we know and love!! the thick cut crispy chippies with the nice little parsley bits!! now they are plain and dry.. they used be so good ... please bring them back
Everyone was super friendly and food was great! There was a younger staff member maybe about 15-16 who served us, she was friendly and accidentally charged us for an extra burger which she rectified quickly and they even gave us that extra burger. Definitely recommend
We eat at a lot of Fish & Chip shops in our travels and Clayfield is one we always come back to. Consistently good quality and they have a great range of gluten free options which is we really love. Have noticed there service has improved a lot over the last several months as well. Highly recommended.
Was very disappointed to pick up king prawns for Xmas lunch starter to find they smelled not at all fresh or edible. When I called I got no satisfaction as I couldn’t bring them back immediately to be able to get refund or replacement. Was expecting good seafood as I had ordered them ahead. Wouldn’t recommend
I literally walked past this shop every time I do my vegie shopping. Each time, there is always a crowd. So intrigued by the crowd. I decided to pay them a visit. I ordered my fish burger meal deal. They sell fresh fish on the premises not a huge selection but great to know. For once, they advertised as a seafood place.lol The staff are very friendly and quickly took my order. There is seating available outside the shop If you want to stick around while you enjoy your meal. Now for the most important thing..taste. I wasn't disappointed, the fish was cooked perfectly. Crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. I definitely enjoyed 😉 my meal. Will come back for more. Highly recommended ✨️ 👌
